Natures Own Way.

Reflex Locomotion is a non-invasive and painless manual therapy. Stimulation of precise zones whilst in specific body positions, facilitate and promote genetically programmed motor responses (global patterns), that are fundamental to optimal human development, anatomical function and perfomance. First pioneered in the 1950s' by Czech neurologist Dr. J. Vojta, as a treatment to enhance the motor development in childern affected with cerebral palsy, reflex locomotion stimulation has been evolved further by Dr. Pavel Kolar, Head of Rehabilitation, Charles University Hosp. Prague, in his approach to rehabiliation of locomotor system dysfunction, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS). Dr. Kolars' continued achievements have led to reflex locomotion being widely recognised as a breakthough in radicular pain syndromes, and as such, a recommended prerequisite to any effective functional rehabilitation therapy or exercise program.

Immediate benefits of RL stimulation include; reactivation of deep muscle stabiizing system (DMSS), pain relief, from chronic and acute pain, eg joint pain/arthritis, low back pain, headaches, tension., increased joint mobility and a deep and true relaxation.

Long term benefits include; pain relief,  improved motor function, posture and gait correction, improved stability, co-ordination, body awareness, balance and power, more energy, fewer injuries, improved respiratory and circulatory function, improved stimulation and function of smooth musculature (internal organs)
